East Coast Fencing manufactures pressure treated picket fence panels in-house, with pointed and round top styles available in popular heights. All panels are supplied in a standard 6ft width, with brown and green or natural treated finishes to suit different garden styles.
Pointed and Round Top Picket Panels
Pointed top picket fence panels have a familiar, traditional appearance that works particularly well in cottage-style gardens, front boundaries and around planted areas. The shaped tops give the fence line a more defined finish while keeping the overall design open.
Round top picket fence panels have a softer appearance, making them a popular choice for family gardens, paths and welcoming front boundaries. Both styles provide the same practical open structure, so the choice mainly comes down to the look you prefer.
Picket Fence Panel Heights
Our picket fence panels are available in 2ft, 3ft and 4ft heights. Two-foot panels create a low decorative boundary for paths, lawns and planted borders, while 3ft panels provide a more noticeable division without making the garden feel enclosed.
4ft picket fence panels offer a taller open boundary where more separation is needed. They remain lighter in appearance than solid fence panels and continue to allow daylight and airflow through the garden.
Pressure Treated Picket Fence Panels
Every picket fence panel we supply is pressure treated for outdoor use, helping protect the timber against rot and fungal decay. This makes the panels suitable for long-term use in exposed garden conditions.
Brown treated panels provide a darker, more traditional finish, while green or natural treated panels retain a lighter timber appearance. Both colours will gradually weather outdoors, and natural variations in grain, knots and shade are normal.
Picket Panels for Front Gardens

Picket panels are commonly installed with wooden fence posts to maintain a consistent timber appearance. Choose posts that suit the panel height and the conditions of the site.
Picket or Solid Fence Panels?
Picket panels are best where you want to define a boundary while retaining light, views and an open feel. They suit front gardens, paths and internal garden divisions where privacy is not the main concern.
For a solid boundary with greater screening, consider closeboard fence panels or waney lap fence panels. These styles are generally better suited to rear gardens and boundaries where privacy is a priority.
