The 6FT x 2FT Round Top Picket Fence Panel - Pressure Treated Green/Natural is a 1830mm-wide, 600mm-high panel for creating low boundaries with an open, understated appearance. Its rounded pale tops make it the softer-looking alternative to a point-top panel, while the 2ft nominal height keeps the fence deliberately low. It is well suited to front garden edges, paths, planting areas and internal garden divisions where the aim is to define space rather than enclose it visually.
Manufactured by East Coast Fencing, the panel uses 13 individual 75mm-wide timber picket pales across two 75 x 32mm backrails. The approximate 70mm gaps between pales are a deliberate part of the design, leaving clear sight lines through the fence. This makes the panel a poor choice where privacy is the objective, but a useful one where planting, the street or another part of the garden should remain visible. The timber is pressure treated and supplied in a green/natural finish.
Plan the fence around the actual 1830mm panel width and allow for the width of the chosen posts rather than assuming every existing opening is identical. Keep the base of the pales clear of accumulated soil and use exterior-grade fixings appropriate to the post material. Customers wanting a timber installation can select from our wooden fence posts, while the general fence posts category covers the wider supporting options for panel fencing.
The 600mm height is intended for a visually light boundary and should not be chosen if the project needs meaningful screening. Compare the 900mm and 1200mm versions in our picket fence panels range when more height is useful. A suitable picket gate can be planned into the run where pedestrian access is required.
