The 6FT x 3FT Point Top Picket Fence Panel - Pressure Treated Brown gives more boundary presence than a 2ft picket panel while retaining the open character that defines traditional picket fencing. It measures 1830mm wide by 900mm high and uses pointed pale tops for a crisp, traditional profile. This height works particularly well for front gardens and internal dividing runs where a clear fence line is wanted but full privacy would be excessive.

East Coast Fencing manufactures each panel from 13 timber picket pales, each 75mm wide, fixed across two 75 x 32mm horizontal backrails. The pales are separated by approximately 70mm. Those gaps are large enough for the fence to remain visually open, so the 900mm height should not be mistaken for a privacy screen. The brown pressure-treated finish gives the timber a darker appearance from installation and suits projects using other brown-treated fencing components.

The 3ft height makes setting out more important than with a purely decorative low edging panel because inconsistencies in the top line are easier to see across a longer run. Measure the actual 1830mm panel width, establish post positions with a string line and keep a sensible clearance between the bottom of the pales and the ground. Suitable wooden fence posts can be used for a traditional all-timber arrangement, with appropriate components available in our screws, fixings and fasteners range.

Choose the 900mm point-top panel when a low fence feels too slight but a 1200mm picket boundary would be more than the site needs. Other heights and both top profiles are grouped within our picket fence panels range. If access is required, plan a picket gate into the layout before setting the adjacent posts so the gateway does not create an awkward final bay.
