The 6FT x 3FT Point Top Picket Fence Panel - Pressure Treated Green/Natural is a mid-height open fencing panel for customers who want a defined garden boundary without the closed appearance of solid boarding. The panel measures 1830mm wide and 900mm high. Its point-top pales give the fence a traditional outline, while the 3ft nominal height provides noticeably more separation than a 2ft panel without turning the boundary into a privacy fence.
Manufactured in-house by East Coast Fencing, each panel contains 13 timber pales at 75mm wide, secured to two 75 x 32mm backrails. Approximate 70mm spacing between the pales produces the repeating open pattern. This is useful where light and visibility through the boundary are desirable, but customers needing screening should compare solid fence panels instead. The timber is pressure treated and supplied with a green/natural appearance.
Use the actual 1830mm panel width when marking the run and take account of post size and gate positions before installation. The lower edge should be kept away from wet soil where practical. For an all-timber fence, wooden fence posts continue the same natural material through the structure. On sloping ground, stepping each panel at the posts generally gives a cleaner result than attempting to tilt a rigid 1830mm panel to follow the gradient.
This 900mm version is a useful compromise between decorative low fencing and the stronger visual presence of a 1200mm picket panel. Browse the full picket fence panels range to compare heights and round-top alternatives. If the boundary includes an opening, selecting a picket gate at the planning stage helps keep the finished run consistent in style and spacing.
