The 6FT x 4FT Round Top Picket Fence Panel - Pressure Treated Green/Natural gives a 1200mm-high open boundary with a softer rounded profile. Measuring 1830mm wide, it is the tallest round-top picket panel in this category and suits gardens where the fence needs to feel established and substantial without becoming a solid screen. The rounded pale heads keep the overall appearance less angular than the point-top equivalent.
This panel is manufactured by East Coast Fencing using 13 timber pales, each 75mm wide, secured to two 75 x 32mm backrails. The spacing between the pales is approximately 70mm, so even at 4ft high the fence remains intentionally open. It is therefore better suited to visible boundaries than to locations where privacy is the main requirement. The timber is pressure treated and supplied with a green/natural finish, while the assembled panel depth is listed at approximately 50mm.
Before installation, use the actual 1830mm panel width when setting post centres and plan the whole run, including corners, gates and changes in level. Keeping the lower ends of the pales clear of damp ground avoids unnecessary direct contact. Suitable wooden fence posts can be used for a consistent timber structure, and appropriate exterior fixings can be selected from our screws, fixings and fasteners category. On a sloping boundary, step the panels deliberately at the posts to keep each panel itself level.
The 1200mm round-top panel is the option to choose when maximum picket height is useful but an open layout is still preferred. Compare other heights and the more pointed top style within our picket fence panels range. For an access point, the available picket gates can be considered at the same planning stage as the posts and panels.
