The 6FT x 4FT Round Top Picket Fence Panel - Pressure Treated Brown is a 1830mm-wide, 1200mm-high panel for creating a taller open boundary with a rounded top line. It has more visual presence than the 2ft and 3ft versions but remains very different from solid fencing because the spaces between each pale stay open. The round tops give the taller panel a softer outline than the equivalent point-top design.
Manufactured by East Coast Fencing, the panel consists of 13 timber picket pales at 75mm wide, fixed across two 75 x 32mm backrails. Pales are separated by approximately 70mm. That regular spacing maintains visibility through the fence, which is useful where the boundary needs definition without screening the garden. The timber is pressure treated and supplied in brown, and the listed overall depth of the assembled panel is approximately 50mm.
At 1200mm high, good setting out matters. Measure the actual 1830mm panel width before fixing posts, keep the run straight and leave the bottom of the pales clear of wet soil. Customers wanting an all-timber finish can use suitable wooden fence posts; the wider fence posts range can be used to compare the available supporting options. If the ground slopes, plan each change in level before installation rather than allowing the panel line to drift from bay to bay.
Choose this 4ft round-top version where a taller picket boundary is wanted without the sharper appearance of pointed pales. If privacy is the priority, use a solid style from our fence panels range instead. Lower round-top sizes and point-top alternatives can be compared in picket fence panels.
