This 6ft x 4ft Round Top Picket Fence Panel is a taller picket option that keeps the garden feeling open while giving a clear, finished boundary line. At 4ft high it suits front gardens where you want a bit more separation, side runs, and internal dividers. The round top finish gives a softer look than pointed pickets, which works well in family gardens and more relaxed spaces.

The panel is pressure treated for outdoor use and built from thirteen 75 x 19mm picket pales fixed to two 75 x 32mm back rails. The pales are spaced at roughly 75mm apart, creating a consistent picket rhythm along the run and allowing light and visibility through the fence. The open design makes it a good choice where you want structure without the heavy feel of solid fencing.

At this height, a bit of careful setting out helps the fence look its best. Keep post centres consistent so fence panels sit neatly, and allow a small clearance at the bottom so the timber isn’t in constant contact with damp ground. If the garden slopes, stepping the fence line often gives a cleaner finish and avoids awkward gaps.

This panel can be used with either timber or concrete posts depending on the look you want. If you need matching posts, see our fence posts range, including wooden fence posts and concrete fence posts. For other heights and top styles, browse our picket fence panels.

Fitted level with tidy post centres, this 6ft x 4ft round top panel gives a traditional picket look with a softer profile and a bit more height for stronger boundary definition.
