The 6FT x 2FT Closeboard Fence Panel - Pressure Treated Brown is a 600mm-high, 1830mm-wide closeboard panel for low front-garden boundaries, path edges, low dividers and positions on top of a suitable wall where a solid timber finish is wanted without blocking the garden behind it. Because the panel is low, the main buying check is usually the existing bay width rather than wind loading from a tall fence. Measure the opening between posts before ordering or cutting, especially on an older run where posts may no longer be perfectly parallel. A gravel board beneath the panel is useful where the bottom of the fence would otherwise be close to soil, lawn or wet planting. It creates a replaceable or non-panel barrier at ground level and reduces prolonged moisture and splashback around the lower edge of the feather edge boards.
