At the published board dimensions, yes. The 12 Inch Smooth Concrete Gravel Board with Hedgehog Hole uses the same principal external dimensions as our standard 12 Inch Smooth Concrete Gravel Board.
Both measure 1.83m long and 305mm high, with a listed depth of approximately 45 to 55mm. Both are steel reinforced and vibration finished.
The important difference is the opening formed in the hedgehog version. It provides a deliberate wildlife passage through the concrete base while the rest of the board continues to perform the normal gravel-board role beneath the timber fence panel.
This means selecting the wildlife version does not require changing from a 305mm-high board to a different nominal bay length. The complete post and fencing arrangement must still be compatible, and an existing bay should be measured before replacement rather than relying only on its nominal 6ft description.
If the fence needs to remain completely closed at the base, choose the conventional board instead. Other profiles can be compared under concrete gravel boards.
