Yes. Our waney lap panels can be used with compatible concrete fence posts and a suitable gravel board, creating a panel-and-gravel-board system instead of an all-timber post arrangement.
Yes. Our waney lap fence panels can be installed with compatible concrete fence posts where a slotted panel-and-gravel-board system is preferred.
The panels are manufactured at 1830mm wide, following the traditional UK 6ft panel format. They have an overall depth of approximately 40mm, created by the overlapping horizontal boards and the front and rear support layers.
A suitable concrete gravel board can form the base beneath the timber panel. This places the gravel board closest to the ground while the waney lap panel sits above it within the fencing arrangement.
For example, our 6ft x 6ft waney lap panel is 1830mm wide by 1800mm high and can be used with compatible concrete posts. Shorter waney lap heights use the same 1830mm panel width, allowing the panel height and gravel-board height to be selected as separate parts of the finished fence.
Waney lap can also be installed with suitable wooden posts, so the choice of support system does not require changing to a different panel style.
