The 6FT x 1FT Decorative Diamond Lattice Trellis is a shallow decorative topper, measuring approximately 1.83m wide by 0.3m high. Its diagonal lattice creates the diamond pattern that distinguishes this range from our square and horizontal trellis styles, making it useful where the trellis itself is intended to contribute to the appearance of the boundary.
Its 300mm height is useful where only a small amount of lattice is wanted above a fence or wall, adding detail and a little plant support without creating a tall extension. The timber is pressure treated in a green/natural finish for outdoor use. Natural variation in grain, knots and treatment colour should be expected, and the appearance will change gradually as the timber weathers.
The 1ft size is best regarded as decorative topping. It can run above standard fencing to introduce the diamond pattern or provide a narrow line for trailing and climbing growth. Because the panel is shallow, it will not materially screen an overlooking view; customers needing that should move to a deeper lattice or a different fencing arrangement rather than expecting planting alone to solve it immediately.
The open diamond pattern can provide a framework for climbing plants, but it is not a solid privacy screen. If fitting this panel above existing fencing, check the support posts and finished height before installation. Fix the trellis to sound structural timber or appropriate framing with exterior-grade fixings; do not rely solely on thin panel capping or damaged fence components.
