This lightweight 6 inch rebated concrete gravel board provides a 150mm-high concrete base for compatible fencing systems while keeping the profile lower than the 12 inch version. It measures 6ft (1.83m) long and approximately 45 to 55mm deep, with a rebated design that needs to match the way the particular fence is constructed.

The main buying point is compatibility. A rebated gravel board is not automatically interchangeable with a standard smooth, recessed or other concrete board simply because the overall length is the same. If you are repairing an existing fence, check the profile of the board being removed as well as its height and length before ordering a replacement.

At 150mm high, this version provides a relatively discreet concrete barrier beneath the fence panel. It keeps timber clear of direct soil contact and places concrete at the bottom of the fence where moisture, splashback and knocks from normal garden use are most likely to occur. The board is steel reinforced and vibration finished, while the lightweight design is intended to make positioning the concrete component easier to manage.

The 6 inch height also means it contributes less to the total fence height than a 12 inch gravel board. Take that into account when choosing the fence panel above it. Accurate post spacing remains important because the 1.83m concrete board needs to fit the intended bay without relying on site cutting.

Choose this product where both the 6 inch height and rebated profile are appropriate for the fence system. If you are unsure which concrete profile you need, compare the other options in our concrete gravel boards range before ordering.
