Yes. Our Double Slatted, Horizontal Hit & Miss and Omega Lattice decorative fence panels are 1.828m wide, giving them a true UK 6ft width rather than a 1.8m metric width.
Yes. Our Double Slatted, Horizontal Hit & Miss and Omega Lattice decorative fence panels are all specified at 1.828m wide, which is the traditional UK 6ft fence-panel width.
The distinction between 1.828m and 1.8m is only 28mm, but it can matter when replacing a panel between existing posts. Many decorative panels are produced to a 1.8m metric format. Putting a 1.8m panel into a bay that was set out for a traditional 6ft panel can leave more clearance than expected and may require the installation to be adjusted.
East Coast Fencing decorative panels are manufactured in Poland for our range and imported at the 1.828m width. That applies to our Double Slatted Fence Panels, Horizontal Hit & Miss Fence Panels and Omega Lattice Fence Panels.
A true 6ft specification still does not mean every existing fence bay will measure exactly 1.828m. Old posts can move, previous installers may have allowed different clearances, and individual bays can vary along the same boundary. For replacement work, measure the clear opening between the existing supports before ordering rather than relying only on the nominal size of the panel being removed.
