Is an Omega lattice fence panel the same as a diamond trellis panel?

Quick Answer

No. Diamond trellis is an open lattice panel throughout, while an Omega panel combines a screened horizontal hit and miss body with an integrated curved diamond-lattice section at the top.

No. The two products both contain a diamond lattice pattern, but their overall constructions are very different.

Our diamond trellis is an open lattice panel throughout. The range is approximately 1.83m wide and is available from shallow 300mm topper panels through to a full-height 1.8m open lattice screen.

An Omega lattice fence panel is principally a framed screened fence panel. It uses a 45 x 45mm semi-planed frame with 100 x 5mm grooved horizontal slats arranged in a hit and miss pattern across the lower section. An approximately 300mm curved diamond-lattice section is integrated into the top of that frame.

For example, the 6ft x 6ft Omega panel reaches 1800mm at the centre of its curved top and approximately 1600mm at the shoulders. The lattice is only the upper part of the complete panel.

Choose standalone diamond lattice when an open trellis panel is required. Choose Omega where the main boundary needs a more screened horizontal body with decorative lattice incorporated into the top.
