The stated height of an East Coast Fencing Omega lattice panel refers to the highest point at the centre of the curved top. The shoulders at each side are approximately 200mm lower, so the top of the panel should not be treated as a straight horizontal line at the nominal height.
For example, the 3ft Omega panel reaches 900mm at the centre and is approximately 700mm at the shoulders. The 4ft version reaches 1200mm with shoulders around 1000mm, while the 5ft version reaches 1500mm at the centre and approximately 1300mm at the sides.
On the 6ft x 6ft Omega Lattice Decorative Fence Panel, the centre reaches 1800mm and the shoulders are approximately 1600mm high. The curved upper section is an integrated diamond lattice rather than a separate trellis panel added afterwards.
This matters when planning a fence beneath windows, branches, walls or other fixed features. It also matters when several panels are installed together because the shoulder levels and centre peaks need to align for the repeated curves to look consistent.
