Our Omega lattice panels use a 45 x 45mm semi-planed timber frame, 100 x 5mm grooved horizontal slats arranged in a hit and miss pattern, and an integrated curved diamond-lattice section approximately 300mm deep.
East Coast Fencing Omega lattice panels combine a framed horizontal hit and miss lower section with an integrated curved diamond-lattice top. The lattice is part of the panel construction rather than a separate trellis topper added afterwards.
The main frame uses 45 x 45mm semi-planed timber and gives the panel an overall depth of approximately 45mm. Within the lower section, 100 x 5mm grooved horizontal slats are arranged on opposite faces in a hit and miss pattern. This interrupts direct sight lines through the boarded section while leaving openings within the construction.
Above the horizontal slats is a curved diamond-lattice section approximately 300mm deep. This integrated lattice forms the Omega-shaped top and accounts for the difference between the centre height and the lower shoulder height at each side.
The panels measure a true 6ft, or 1.828m, wide. They are manufactured in Poland for East Coast Fencing, imported for our range and supplied in a green/natural pressure-treated finish.
The construction can be seen on products such as the 6ft x 3ft Omega Lattice Decorative Fence Panel. Taller versions use the same distinctive construction and are available under Omega lattice fence panels.
