The 6ft x 4ft Omega Lattice Decorative Fence Panel is a popular mid-height option when you want privacy with a more modern, styled look. It suits side boundaries, garden dividers, and patio edges where you want the fence to look like a feature rather than just a barrier. The Omega design blends a hit and miss body with a curved lattice top, which keeps the panel feeling lighter while still giving useful screening across the main height.

These fence panels are made in a 45 x 45mm frame and supplied at a true 1.828m width, matching UK fence bay sizes. They’re imported from Poland, made from semi-par timber, and pressure treated green for outdoor use. The main body uses 100 x 5mm grooved slats fixed horizontally on both sides of the panel. The slats alternate from one face to the other, creating the hit and miss effect. In practice, that gives a good balance. You get privacy and a solid look, but the fence still allows some airflow, which can help reduce the “sail” effect compared with fully solid panels on windier sites.

The integrated trellis top is a 300mm curved bell top diamond lattice. It’s built into the frame rather than being a separate add-on, so the whole panel reads as one design. It also gives you a handy spot for climbers if you want to soften the fence line. When you’re measuring up, remember Omega heights are referenced to the centre of the panel. The shoulders at the sides sit around 200mm lower, which is normal for the curved profile and worth allowing for if you’re aligning with other fence lines or features.

Fit with a small ground clearance so the bottom rail and slats aren’t sat in wet soil, and consider a gravel board if you want a neater base line. To compare other styles and finishes, browse our decorative fence panels range, or see the full set of matching heights in omega lattice fence panels.

If you want a fence panel that looks modern and decorative, but still gives useful screening at 4ft, this Omega panel is a strong choice for everyday UK gardens.
