The 6FT x 3FT Framed Contemporary Double Slatted Panel is a low decorative fence panel for front gardens, patio edges and internal garden divisions where you want a defined boundary without creating a full-height screen. The panel is 900mm high and a true 6ft (1.828m) wide, with a 45mm overall depth.

This panel is manufactured in Poland and imported by East Coast Fencing. The 1.828m width is an important detail: many imported decorative panels are produced at 1.8m wide, whereas this range is made to the traditional UK 6ft panel width. That makes it much easier to plan into conventional UK-style fencing runs or replace a 6ft-wide panel, provided the existing posts and fixing method are otherwise suitable.

Construction is based around a 45 x 45mm frame with semi-planed timber and horizontal 8 x 45mm battens arranged on both faces. The gaps between the battens are approximately 40mm. The result is deliberately open rather than solid: it gives a contemporary screened appearance while still allowing light and air through. At 900mm high, that makes this size better suited to visual separation and low boundaries than to privacy screening.

The timber is pressure treated green/natural for exterior use. Before installing, measure the actual opening between the fence posts rather than assuming an older bay is exactly 6ft. Leave enough fitting clearance for the panel to sit without being forced, and keep the bottom edge clear of soil. A suitable gravel board can provide a defined base and reduce direct ground contact with the timber panel.

Choose this 900mm version when keeping the boundary relatively open is the priority. For taller versions with the same construction, see the double slatted fence panels range, or compare alternative imported styles in decorative fence panels.
