Our 3-way concrete fence post has a 125 x 125mm section with slots on three faces. Each slot accepts fencing from a different direction, so one incorrectly positioned or rotated junction post can affect three separate runs.
Our product guidance recommends marking all three outgoing fence lines before the 3-way post is fixed. The post can then be positioned so each slot points along the intended run and checked for plumb before the setting material takes hold.
Once that central junction is correctly positioned, the intermediate and end posts for each outgoing direction can be set out from it. This is particularly useful for layouts where a dividing fence meets a longer boundary, because all three fence lines depend on the same component.
A 3-way post should only be used where three runs genuinely meet. Straight sections use intermediate posts, while a simple two-direction change uses a corner post. These different slot arrangements can be compared under concrete fence posts.
