At 1.83m x 0.6m, the 1.83M x 0.6M Slatted Trellis - Pressure Treated Green/Natural provides a deeper fence topper or low slatted screen with a horizontal rather than square-lattice appearance. That makes it particularly useful where a straight, contemporary-looking timber line is preferred but the boundary still needs to allow light and air through.
The 600mm height provides enough area for the horizontal layout to become a clear design feature. It works well where some screening and plant support are wanted while still allowing light through the gaps. We manufacture this panel at East Coast Fencing from pressure-treated rough sawn trellis timber. The rough sawn surface is a practical part of the product and will show normal timber characteristics such as knots, grain changes and saw texture.
The 600mm size is where the product starts to work as both a topper and a meaningful screen. It adds a broad horizontal band above fencing, which can soften overlooking and provide a larger planting framework. Because the extra area catches more wind than a shallow topper, check the supporting posts rather than assuming any existing fence can simply take another two feet of timber.
This version uses a green/natural pressure treatment rather than a brown finish. That makes it a good match for similarly treated posts and fencing timber, but it should not be expected to look like a uniform painted product; treatment marks, knots and gradual weathering are normal.
For topper installations, measure the fence bay before fixing and make sure the existing posts or support frame are sound enough for the added height. Fix through suitable supporting timber with exterior-grade fixings rather than relying on the fence panel itself as the only support.
This style is best chosen for its linear layout and filtered screening rather than close privacy. Compare the complete horizontal slatted trellis range for other heights, or browse all trellis panels for square, privacy and decorative alternatives.
