At 1.83m x 0.45m, the 1.83M x 0.45M Slatted Trellis - Pressure Treated Green/Natural provides a compact horizontal screening strip with a horizontal rather than square-lattice appearance. That makes it particularly useful where a straight, contemporary-looking timber line is preferred but the boundary still needs to allow light and air through.
At 450mm high, it creates a more visible band above a fence than the 300mm version while retaining an open appearance. It can also be used around raised beds or low structures where a linear timber finish is preferred. We manufacture this panel at East Coast Fencing from pressure-treated rough sawn trellis timber. The rough sawn surface is a practical part of the product and will show normal timber characteristics such as knots, grain changes and saw texture.
At 450mm, the slatted pattern has more visual presence than the 300mm version and provides a more useful area for light climbing growth. It is a good intermediate choice for customers who want the trellis to be clearly visible above the fence but do not need the deeper screening effect of 600mm or 750mm panels.
This version uses a green/natural pressure treatment rather than a brown finish. That makes it a good match for similarly treated posts and fencing timber, but it should not be expected to look like a uniform painted product; treatment marks, knots and gradual weathering are normal.
For topper installations, measure the fence bay before fixing and make sure the existing posts or support frame are sound enough for the added height. Fix through suitable supporting timber with exterior-grade fixings rather than relying on the fence panel itself as the only support.
This style is best chosen for its linear layout and filtered screening rather than close privacy. Compare the complete horizontal slatted trellis range for other heights, or browse all trellis panels for square, privacy and decorative alternatives.
