At 1.83m x 0.3m, the 1.83M x 0.3M Slatted Trellis - Pressure Treated Green/Natural provides a slim horizontal fence-topper with a horizontal rather than square-lattice appearance. That makes it particularly useful where a straight, contemporary-looking timber line is preferred but the boundary still needs to allow light and air through.
The 300mm height adds a restrained linear detail above fencing without turning the top of the boundary into a large screen. It is useful for light climbers, low decorative sections and projects where the horizontal lines are wanted more for finish than privacy. We manufacture this panel at East Coast Fencing from pressure-treated rough sawn trellis timber. The rough sawn surface is a practical part of the product and will show normal timber characteristics such as knots, grain changes and saw texture.
The 300mm panel is mainly a finishing component. It is deep enough for the horizontal lines to be visible above a fence but shallow enough that the existing fence remains the dominant element. This makes it useful where the aim is to introduce the slatted style across a run without adding a large amount of height or creating a strong screen.
This version uses a green/natural pressure treatment rather than a brown finish. That makes it a good match for similarly treated posts and fencing timber, but it should not be expected to look like a uniform painted product; treatment marks, knots and gradual weathering are normal.
For topper installations, measure the fence bay before fixing and make sure the existing posts or support frame are sound enough for the added height. Fix through suitable supporting timber with exterior-grade fixings rather than relying on the fence panel itself as the only support.
This style is best chosen for its linear layout and filtered screening rather than close privacy. Compare the complete horizontal slatted trellis range for other heights, or browse all trellis panels for square, privacy and decorative alternatives.
