Not from the published product heights alone. Our premium feather edge gate is 1750mm high, while a full-height closeboard panel is 1800mm high, leaving a 50mm difference before the installation is set out.
No. The published heights differ by 50mm, so a premium feather edge gate and a full-height closeboard panel should not be assumed to create an identical top line without allowing for that difference in the layout.
Our Premium Feather Edge Garden Gate is 1750mm high and 900mm wide. A full-height 6ft Closeboard Fence Panel is 1800mm high and 1830mm wide.
The two products are visually compatible because both use overlapping feather edge timber to create a largely closed traditional face. Their construction is not identical, however. The gate is fully framed with 100 x 50mm rebated and morticed stiles and three 88 x 32mm rails, while the closeboard panel uses overlapping boards across 75 x 32mm backing rails.
If the intention is to create a coordinated entrance within closeboard fencing, use the actual 1750mm and 1800mm product heights when setting out the finished top levels rather than treating both products as exactly 6ft high.
