Sold as a 125 x 47mm (2EX) rail and supplied at 3m long, its angled profile is designed to support vertically fixed overlapping boards rather than acting as a decorative finishing timber.
The 3m length is additional working length for wider or non-standard sections, longer repairs and jobs where a 2.4m rail would be too short or create an inconvenient joint.
