Because the timber is rough sawn, surface texture, saw marks, knots and grain variation are normal and should be expected rather than treated as defects.
At 900mm, think of this as a screening panel rather than merely a topper. It can divide a patio from a planting area, screen part of a boundary or create a climbing section while keeping the garden visually connected. If the intention is to hide a view completely, however, the open squares will not do that by themselves; foliage or a solid fencing product would be needed for greater closure.
