The 1.83M x 0.9M Fan Trellis - Pressure Treated Brown is a tall decorative plant-support trellis measuring approximately 1.83m high by 0.9m wide. Its fan shape gives climbing plants vertical support while producing a softer outline than a rectangular square trellis, making it useful against walls, fence sections and planting areas where the trellis itself will remain visible.
East Coast Fencing manufactures this fan trellis from pressure-treated rough sawn trellis timber. The narrower 0.9m width makes it useful for a focused planting feature, a section of wall between openings, or a single climbing plant that does not need a broad rectangular panel. The timber is not smooth planed, so knots, grain, saw marks and minor surface variation are normal characteristics of the product.
The 0.9m width is intentionally compact. It suits a single planting position or a narrow wall section where a broad rectangular trellis would be awkward. Because the fan spreads towards the top, allow space around the upper section for both the timber and mature plant growth. Check the available wall or fence width at the widest point rather than measuring only the base of the planting area.
Brown pressure treatment gives this panel an immediately darker tone while protecting the timber for outdoor use. It is not a decorative paint finish: natural variation in colour, grain and knots remains visible and the shade will change as the timber weathers.
Fan trellis works best when fixed to a stable supporting surface or structure. Set it clear enough for stems to be trained through or tied back where necessary, and choose exterior-grade fixings suitable for both the trellis and the material it is being fixed to. Do not rely on climbing plants alone to hold the panel in position.
This shape is primarily for vertical planting and decorative use rather than privacy screening. If you need a rectangular panel for a longer boundary, compare other products in our trellis panels range; the full selection of this style is available under fan trellis.
