At 1.83m x 1.2m, the 1.83M x 1.2M Slatted Trellis - Pressure Treated Green/Natural provides a medium-height slatted screening panel with a horizontal rather than square-lattice appearance. That makes it particularly useful where a straight, contemporary-looking timber line is preferred but the boundary still needs to allow light and air through.

The 1.2m height gives this panel enough presence to define seating areas, planting zones or boundary sections. It provides filtered screening through horizontal timber lines, but it should not be treated as a fully private solid barrier. We manufacture this panel at East Coast Fencing from pressure-treated rough sawn trellis timber. The rough sawn surface is a practical part of the product and will show normal timber characteristics such as knots, grain changes and saw texture.

The 1.2m panel is a practical middle height for screening areas where a 900mm panel feels too low but a 1.5m or 1.83m screen would be excessive. It can create a clear visual break around seating or service areas while still allowing light through. Plan the supporting frame carefully so the horizontal lines stay level across adjoining panels.

This version uses a green/natural pressure treatment rather than a brown finish. That makes it a good match for similarly treated posts and fencing timber, but it should not be expected to look like a uniform painted product; treatment marks, knots and gradual weathering are normal.

If several panels are being used as a screen, set out the support positions first so adjoining edges are properly fixed. Keep the horizontal lines level from bay to bay, as small differences become more obvious across a longer run.

This style is best chosen for its linear layout and filtered screening rather than close privacy. Compare the complete horizontal slatted trellis range for other heights, or browse all trellis panels for square, privacy and decorative alternatives.
