How do I match an East Coast Fencing picket gate to picket fence panels?

Quick Answer

Match the height, pale-top profile and treatment colour. Our picket gates and panels are both offered at 600mm, 900mm and 1200mm heights with point-top or round-top profiles.

Match three main specifications: height, top profile and treatment colour.

Our picket fence panels are available at 600mm, 900mm and 1200mm high. Our picket gates use the same three heights, so a 900mm gate can be paired with a 900mm, or nominal 3ft, panel run without deliberately creating a height change at the entrance.

The top profile can also be matched. Both ranges are available with point-top and round-top pales. For example, a 900mm round-top picket gate can continue the same top style as a 6ft x 3ft round-top picket panel.

Brown and green/natural pressure-treated versions are available across the principal gate and panel combinations, allowing the starting treatment colour to be coordinated as well.

The widths are intentionally different because the products perform different jobs. Picket panels are 1830mm wide, while the pedestrian gates are 900mm wide. Matching therefore means coordinating the visible height, pale profile and treatment rather than expecting the gate and panel to have identical overall dimensions.
