The Green Pressure Treated 0.9m x 0.9m Round Top Picket Gate combines a practical pedestrian width with a medium-height open picket design. It measures 900mm high by 900mm wide and uses rounded pale tops, giving the entrance a softer profile than a point top gate while still providing a clear visual boundary.
This height works well where a 600mm gate would feel too low but a 1.2m gate is not needed. It can suit front garden paths, access between lawn and planted areas, or other garden divisions where the fence should define the space without blocking sight lines. The open construction is deliberately different from a solid privacy gate, so customers who need screening should choose another gate type. Matching round top picket fence panels can continue the same shape through the adjoining boundary.
The gate is manufactured by East Coast Fencing from pressure-treated timber. It has a green/natural finish, sawn surface and overall depth of 50mm. The treatment helps resist rot, fungal decay and insect attack. Timber remains a natural material, so variations in grain, knots and treatment colour are normal and will become less pronounced as the gate weathers outdoors.
Before setting posts, decide where the gate will hinge and which direction it will open. The 900mm product width should not be used as the finished post spacing without also allowing for the selected hardware and movement. Install suitable gate posts plumb, check the ground across the swing area, and make sure the chosen hinge and latch fixings are appropriate for the post material.
