The Green Pressure Treated 0.9m x 0.9m Point Top Picket Gate is a medium-height timber gate for pedestrian entrances where traditional picket styling and an open boundary are both important. Measuring 900mm high by 900mm wide, it gives more visual definition than the 0.6m gate while remaining lower and less dominant than the 1.2m version.
The pointed tops provide a crisp, traditional finish that works well across front gardens, paths and other areas where the gate is intended to be seen as part of the landscape rather than hidden behind a solid screen. The spacing between pales maintains visibility through the gate, so it is suitable for open garden boundaries rather than situations where privacy is the main requirement. Manufactured by East Coast Fencing, the gate uses pressure-treated timber with a green/natural colour, a sawn finish and a depth of 50mm. The square 0.9m by 0.9m proportions make this a straightforward pedestrian gate, but correct post spacing still depends on the ironmongery. Allow for hinge thickness, latch position and operating clearance before installing the gate posts. If the entrance is on uneven ground, check the swing path as well as the static ground clearance so the bottom of the gate does not catch as it opens.
