The Samac Brown Drive In Fence Spike 75 x 75 x 600mm is a concrete-free ground fixing for compatible 75 x 75mm timber posts. The 600mm spike is driven into suitable soil, with the square holder remaining above ground so the wooden post can be secured without burying its end directly in the ground.

A powder-coated brown finish provides the external finish and helps the fitting sit discreetly alongside treated timber. This model is specifically sized for a 75 x 75mm post. Check the actual post section before purchase, as a 100 x 100mm post requires the larger support rather than this version.

Installation accuracy is important with any drive-in support. Start the spike in the correct position, use an appropriate driving method and repeatedly check that it remains plumb in both directions. Correct small deviations before the spike is fully driven. Stones, compacted rubble or exceptionally loose soil can make a driven spike unsuitable or difficult to position accurately; in those conditions another fixing method from our fence post spikes and supports range may be more appropriate.

This 75mm support can be paired with suitably sized wooden fence posts for fencing and other light timber applications where the site conditions and loads are appropriate. It should be selected as part of the whole installation rather than viewed as a universal substitute for a concreted post.
