A fence post spur is a cost effective, easy to install way method of securing an old broken fence post.

Concrete fence post spurs are the most common type. However, timber and metal variations available, too.

Installing a concrete fence post spur

A hole needs to be dug down the side of one face of the fence post, it's not necessary to dig all the way around the post. We recommend a depth of 600MM (2FT)

Once the hole is dug to the sufficient depth, place the spur into the correct position & use coach bolts to fix to the wooden fence post.

Prop your fence posts so it if upright and plum, then concrete your new spur into position (postmix is great for this)
