How high can my Neighbours fence be?
We believe the maximum height your (or your neighbours) rear boundary fence can be without planning permission is 2 meters.
Planning permission is required from the relevant authorities for fencing (including any trellis panels) to be over this height.
It's important to note that maximum heights in your front garden are lower than permitted in a back garden. Generally the maximum height for a front fence is 1.05M.
